What Does Your Script Need?

Whether you’d like a consultation about the developmental path for your work or prefer to talk about hiring us as a general manager for an industry reading or as an executive producer for an Off-Broadway run, an in-depth conversation with an experienced professional is the first step.
You’ll walk away with a clear action plan and greater insights about what your work needs now, and confidence on how to take the next step.

Dramaturgical Workshops
Do you have a particular question about your script? Would you like to get in a room with actors to explore why your script is not working or whether some changes need to be made? Are you looking for a dramaturg with years of experience developing new work in the NYC theater and developing and producing in regional theaters and Off-Broadway?
Getting into a room with actors to develop new work can offer new insights on your script. Our Dramaturgy Workshop is a three-day in-person exploration, with professional actors, to test drive your script or to discover certain elements in your work before an industry reading. It offers:
- a one-hour in-depth conversation and analysis on your script one week before the workshop
- an action plan with clear takeaways post-workshop detailing the discoveries made and a checklist to get your script ready for your reading, festival submissions, or industry workshop.
Subject to availability.

Industry Readings
Is your script “NYC” ready? Then it’s time to get it in front of a NYC audience. We can help you produce either a developmental reading or a high-profile industry reading, or produce it for you.
This option includes:
- Dramaturgy sessions before your reading
- Putting the right people on board (director, musical director, casting director, actors), in the right venue
- Inviting the “right” audience to the reading and setting up a follow up reception afterward
- As a GM we can help you prepare all the paperwork so you can concentrate on being a 100% professional creative theatremaker.
Please indicate whether you’re planning a play or a musical industry reading when you set up your free consultation.
Readings subject to availability and acceptance into the program.

Executive Producing
As lonely as it is being a solitary writer, it’s equally lonely and much more confusing being a writer who’s determined to self-produce his/her own work. As an Off-Broadway producer who has produced and/or directed a multiple of readings, showcases, Off-Broadway shows, regional theaters and in almost every NYC festival, I’ve been there. We can help you navigate the myriad of decisions and steps confidently either as your consultant, or will executive produce your reading or showcase for you.
Why waste money and time with a script that doesn’t move audiences the way you want? Why get trapped in an endless cycle of readings when you just want to get your script on stage?
Let’s figure out your goals together to reliably and cost-effectively move your new play or musical forward into a production.
Subject to availability and acceptance.
