The 2 Day Development Workshop
This is how scripts are developed in the industry: in the room, actors on their feet, with professionals.
In this fast, high-level development process designed to move your script forward, you will hear your work with professional actors, refine critical scenes with a director and dramaturg or producer, and implement changes immediately.
End with a full table read—and a script that’s clearer, tighter, and ready for what’s next.

CreateTheater been developing new musicals for over 15 years in NYC, and our musicals are being developed regionally, in NYC, and in London.. Our Musical Writing Labs offer both the Libretto Lab headed by Cate Cammarata and the Songwriting Lab, led by former BMI faculty Skip Kennon and composer Linda Bonadies, in addition to the four Musical Development Workshops yearly.
